This is NO LONGER McGuires, but is Eddie Mae's - offers buffets and entrees. Not the best buffet around (see Bullock House in Warm Springs) but pretty good Southern cooking. plus you can get the buffet to go... they used to offer meal plans, don't know if that's still available.

Fox's is a good place to eat in or dine out. The prices are okay and reasonable. They have a white garlic sauce for those who can not have tomatoe products!!!! If you want something different, try the white garlic sauce!!

The prices are good and the service is good. The food is cook they way you want it!!!! Sometimes they are real busy due to events going on at Callaway Gardens. Give them a try. Try their Big House breakfast's, lunch's and dinner's!! The prices are real good on the Big House plates and you get a lot of food with them.

You'd think it would be hard to mess up a KFC, but these folks do: sorry, the wings will be another 15 minutes, sorry, out of macaroni and cheese... Not only that, it's an EXPRESS one at that, not a full menu.. and THIS is our only food chain store, the rest are local... it's not even cheap when you consider how mediocre the food is (often some wings are so old you can't eat the full order! whatsup widdat?) GO TO KRISPY FRIED CHICKEN INSTEAD, ONLY A BLOCK AWAY - locally run, not as greasy, better chicken, better smashed taters, better deal all around (plus fried catfish) THE COLONEL'S GHOST SHOULD BE ALL OVER THIS ONE, haunting these guys every day! Best thing is that there's a Subway just a door away...

Just like the GOOD OLE DAYS, Kimbrough's is a classic general country store, with everything from overalls, shovels, panama and cowboy hats, boots, feed, fertilizer, even sand by the truckload! Family run and friendly, if you're COUNTRY, they've got something for you and the 'back forty' as well... like deer repellent!
